Required one 100 m ball in bulky 5 or multiply balls in desired colours –
I used: Charisma charisma / carisma 100% acrylic
Pattern:
With 5mm circular needles cast on 60 stitches
Join begining to end Rib – K2 P2 each round until work is 2 inches
Add four stitches by adding a stitch on the 15th, 30th, 45th and 60th stitches
continue in stocking stitch until your work measures 4 inches.
carry the main colour,
switch to alternative colour for 5 rows,
main colour for 5 rows,
5 rows alternative colour
main colour for 5 rows
5 rows alternative colour – on final round place marker after the 16th, 32nd, 48th and 64th stitches
main colour for 5 rows – decrease 4 stitches by knitting the last two stitches together before each marker – total decreased at end of 5 rows <20>
7 rows of final alternative colour – decrease 4 stitches by knitting the last two stitches together before each marker – total decreased at end of 7 rows <28>
cut yarn leaving enough thread to insert into the last 16 stitches and pull through
turn inside out and darn in all yarn ends
add pompon if desired
I made these for my family, as part of my Christmas 2016 collection.

Required one 100 m ball in bulky 5 –
I used: Charisma charisma / carisma 100% acrylic
3.5 mm double ended needles for ribbing and 4 mm double ended needles for body
With the 3.5 mm double ended needles cast on
Small 28 stitches (8/12/8)
Medium 32 Stitches (8/16/8)
Join end to start Ribbing K1* (in back of needle) P1
Continue ribbing K1*P1 until cuff measures 2 1/2 inches
Change to 4 mm double ended needles and stocking stitch increase 4 stitches:
Continue in stocking stitch for 14 rows (small) or 16 rows for (medium)
Thumb – next 10 stitches (small) or 12 stitches (medium)
K1* P1 turn for 5 rows – on 5th row cast off theses 10 or 12 stitches
cut yarn leaving a 12 inch thread
Fingerless Body
In stocking stitch knit across remaining 22 stitches (small) or 24 stitches (medium)
Pick up 2 stitches at the bottom of the thumb (bring thumb together) knit
Continue in stocking stitch for a total of 10 rows
for small next 4 rows:
row 1 purl, row 2 knit, row 3 purl, row 4 knit and cast off
for medium next 6 rows:
row 1 purl, row 2 knit, row 3 purl, row 4 knit, row 5 purl, row 6 knit and cast off

Required two 5o gram balls in medium 4 -I used: Scheepjes Voluma De Luxe yarn 74% Acrylic yarn, 13% Mohair, 13%Lurex.
To make ear flap – using two yarn strands and 16 inch (41 cm) number 8 (5.00 mm) circular knitting needles or double pointed number 8 (5.00 mm) needles:
cast on 3 stitches Knit one row, Purl row: Knit 1 Purl 1 Knit 1
